Help us rebuild the concept of hope in Armenia
The present political situation in Armenia pushes a lot of people to sell their vote, and thus to sell their future. The awareness about civic rights and duties must be improved. Hence, the establishment of the Depop Institute For Governance.
One of the projects our Institute is presently implementing is a series of four Public Service Announcements (PSAs) entitled: April is My Future. The goal of these PSAs is to influence the behavioral pattern of the general public during the upcoming Parliamentary elections in Armenia in April 2017.
The PSA’s feature people from all walks of life, including well-known artists from the entertainment industry, who will deliver a message of hope and empowerment to a society that has lost most hope in the possibility of having free and fair election; seeking to remind people that they need to feel as though they are responsible and in charge of their futures.
Each PSA delivers one or several of the following key messages:
- Every vote matters & every vote can make a difference;
- Voting is an essential duty of each citizen who cares about the future of his/her country;
- Taking electoral bribes and selling voices is a moral crime that has a direct effect on the prosperity of the country’s future.
The collected funds will help to partially finance the production of the PSA’s, their targetted widespreading through social media, as well as the mediatic presentation to the Armenian public.
Thank you for your support and for helping us build a new concept of hope in Armenia!
